Alert! March 2024 East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is working on a plan to dump 3.6 million cubic yards of trench spoils at Fairmont Ridge/Lake Chabot! Citizens have asked EBMUD to terminate the project, but EBMUD has refused to do so -- stating that the project is merely "paused". Citizens have organized to oppose EBMUD's scheme.
