 Original East Bay Regional Park District Proposal (1930)

Lake Chabot appeared on the cover of the original proposal to establish the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD). In 1930, park founders felt Lake Chabot needed to be preserved. This 'jewel in the crown' needs our protection today. (Note the location where the cover photograph was taken)
